Hey gang, Happy 2004! I am going to give you a little recap of my winter so far...

T he holidays were delightful -- I hope yours were as good and as uneventful as ours. Not a single glitch at the airport on our way to MN where we always spend our holiday. Not like the year that our 6am flight was cancelled and we spent 10 hours at LaGuardia Airport until Anni-Ming was wearing toilet seat covers around her neck like angels wings!!! We arrived in Minnesota and the weather was unseasonably kind. There was enough snow , but not enough to freeze your blood! We even got to skate on one of the many 10,000 lakes that freeze over.

We got to see some friends and Anni-Ming got to join her Grandma's in making Grandma's favorite favorite recipe - creamed corn. (Should I include the recipe on the web site? It's so delicious! I still want to add a recipe section to the site this year! We could swap recipes - good idea!?) I made wild rice dressing too. Oh no, this is making me hungry!

I'd rather be kissing Santa! Let me tell you, David "Santa" Canary was happy to be out of that wig and beard -- it was hotter than Hades under the studio lights!

Here's the new Babe in town (or should I say "Babe's mother") and my baby, Petey!
