So in August, when we were vacationing in Big Sur, California, it seemed only natural that the All My Children coordinating producer should call saying the taping schedule had been changed and I had to drop everything and head back to NYC, pronto!
What does it all mean, I’ve been wondering. I guess my lesson for this summer is—go forth, have fun, but STAY FLEXIBLE!!!
I’m going to try to hang onto this lesson as we gear up for the beginning of school. It seems children these days have schedules that are as full and demanding as those of corporate execs, and it can make a mother tense!! So my objective is to see if I can borrow from Muhammad Ali, and bob and weave my way through the day, light on my feet, smile on my face. I’ll let you know how I do!
