Jill's

But every now and then, there's an 'ooops!", and that's what happened to me on set. I was taking a flying leap onto Anna Stuart, accusing her a hatching a plot against Erica, when my hand bumped into the arm of the couch I was leaping onto. It didn't feel like any more than a bump at the time, but later it began to really hurt! Well, you know what they say, "you play, you pay!!!" I'd say it was worth it.

And here's the latest ---
my achin' thumb required surgery to repair a torn ligament! Fortunately, I emerged from the O.R. with all my digits intact and a full recovery is expected. Six weeks after going under the knife, the plaster cast came off and my hand looked like a withered prune! I'm in therapy and under doctor's orders not to type on the computer, but I'm not being an obedient patient!

I love any opportunity I get to do a stage fight at work. Of course the boys get to do it more than the gals, but I stlll manage to get my fair share. I've punched, kicked, been thrown, shoved, collapsed, it's wonderful fun, because you get to take all the unexpressed anger you've accumulated over the past few days and unleash it on some poor acting partner, AND they pay you to do it!

See! My hand's in a cast, my arm's in a sling, and it's all Mary's fault! Actually, the All My Children writers wrote that Opal and Palmer were in a car accident, but here's the truth of what really happened behind the scenes....
